COGIJCA History
The Church of God in Jesus Christ Assembly was organized in 1933 and founded by the late Bishop
A.E. Miller. Being chosen of God to be a leader for the people, and hearing the call to feed the flock of God, Bishop Miller,
with the support of only a few saints proceeded with the proclamation of The Church of God in Jesus Christ Apostolic Inc..

History of the Apostolic Faith
The apostolic movement is the continuation from the great revival in Jerusalem on the Day of
Pentecost, A.D. 33. The Apostles and Prophets being the founders, and Jesus Christ the Chief Cornerstone, according to Acts
2:1-12 and Ephesians 2:19-20.
Through the years, the COGIJCA organization has grown tremendously, obtaining several churches
throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
